ACCESSORIES MAGAZINE FEATURE- A STANDOUT FAVORITE

Every fashion week, the Nolcha Shows present the work of independent accessories brands in a special lounge presentation. This year’s selection of pieces embodied a bespoke, handcrafted aesthetic. Below, five pieces that caught our eye at the show:

Celebrity stylist Gina LaMorte presented her handbag collection, Trade. This ribbon-and-fur trim gave a Western touch to a suede clutch.

Neubryne‘s wood platforms have a hand-carved aesthetic reminiscent of architectural moldings but a surprisingly light construction that makes them completely wearable. Designer Martha Gibbs debuted the collection for the first time at Nolcha Shows, and editors in attendance were stopping in their tracks over the designs.

Cheryl Eve Acosta sculptural jewelry is just that: wearable artwork. This statement necklace from the Mer De Verre (or, sea of glass) collection is inspired by coral and crafted from enamel and plated in silver or gold.

Ahtleisure meets craft with independent women’s footwear brand All Black. This sneaker for Spring ’18 fuses trendy mesh with Gucci-esque embroidery in a way that is anything but expected.

Gallery of Indonesia presented an array of pieces from Indonesian designers, including this layered freshwater pearl necklace.
